Also she left her boyfriend and all of the other boys when she knew that they were getting drunk and that it would be smart to leave. Cherry is also a good friend because she stuck with Marcia when things were getting bad with their boyfriends and made the good decision with her that they should leave. Lastly, she lives in a wealthier town than where the greasers live. Mequon is a very welthy town compared to Milwaukee or other bad parts of the state.
